"Return to
Paradise"
This play is for students 11-18
This is a dramatic comedy that takes place
in a hotel in Hawaii, Paradise Hotel. A lot of fun, drama, and mystery can happen when old
school friends and their families "mysteriously" meet up in Hawaii at
an unexpected reunion.
In addition to this being a story with
lots of twists and turns, each character portraits a parable in
the Bible which make for all kinds of intrigue and fun!
The audience gets to guess which parable
matched which character! All
sorts of different characters are included in this play, from young to old,
dramatic, wacky, rich, dingy....and even a blind character!
(Just a NOTE: This play
does have a Christian message
woven into the story, so if that is offensive in any way to you,
you may not want to participate this summer. )

Practice Times:
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
(with some later practices going until 3 the second week)
Tuesday and Friday
4:30-7:30 (some until 8:30 the second week)

Friday, July 29, 7 p.m.
Saturday, July 30, 1 p.m.

Cost of the Two-Week Workshop:
$135 per participant
$35 registration -non-refundable June 1
Balance due July 11
Participants are responsible to provide costumes. The director has
some, some can be rented from Lois Sager in Ferndale and others can easily
be found at the local Thrift Stores.

Auditions for specific parts in
this play will
be held sometime in late May or early June.
Once you register, audition lines will
be emailed to you. Then you can call for
an audition time.
